Dr. Greenbaum’s passion for orthopaedic medicine started early, fueled by his love of sports and the inspiration of a well-respected pediatric physician. But before becoming a doctor, he had a completely different career path: from ages 6 to 13, he was a professional actor known as Bradley Greene. He appeared in more than 40 commercials, guest spots on numerous TV series, and even held a principal role for three years on the soap opera General Hospital.
This is where life imitated art in a surprising way.
The exterior setting used for General Hospital (LA County/USC) later became the very place where Dr. Greenbaum completed his Orthopaedic Internship and Residency. Had it not been for the Writers’ Strike in the early 1980s, which ended the development of his character, he might have pursued acting further. Instead, he used the money he earned as an actor to put himself and his two brothers through medical school. Clearly, helping others has always come naturally to Dr. Greenbaum.
Dr. Bradley Greenbaum is a fellowship-trained sports medicine specialist dedicated to helping athletes and active adults recover from injury, restore function, and return to the activities they love.
After earning his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis, Dr. Greenbaum received his medical degree from the University of Southern California. He completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Internship and Residency at LA County/USC Medical Center before pursuing advanced Sports Medicine Fellowship training at the Southern California Center for Sports Medicine in Long Beach, California, where he also served as a Team Physician for Cal State Long Beach Athletics.
For more than 25 years, Dr. Greenbaum has specialized in the treatment of sports-related injuries involving the shoulder, knee, and other major joints. His expertise includes arthroscopic surgery, ligament reconstruction, cartilage restoration, and advanced non-surgical treatment options designed to help patients return to an active lifestyle.
Throughout his career, Dr. Greenbaum has cared for athletes at every level of competition. His sports medicine experience includes serving as Team Physician for the USA National Water Ski Team, USA Diving, World Team Tennis, Orange County professional soccer organizations, and numerous elite sporting events including the USA Gymnastics World Championships, USA Olympic Trials, and the Maloof Money Cup professional skateboarding competition. Most recently, he has provided care for some of the nation’s top-ranked professional Supercross riders.
Whether treating a professional athlete, a weekend warrior, or someone simply hoping to return to a pain-free lifestyle, Dr. Greenbaum takes pride in developing personalized treatment plans focused on achieving the best possible outcome. Patients consistently describe him as compassionate, thorough, and committed to ensuring they fully understand their condition and treatment options.
A lifelong sports enthusiast himself, Dr. Greenbaum enjoys many of the same activities his patients do, including surfing, skiing, cycling, water sports, and endurance athletics. He believes that staying active is one of the keys to a healthy life and understands firsthand the importance of getting back to the activities that matter most.
Originally from Southern California, Dr. Greenbaum has long enjoyed spending time in Las Vegas with his wife, Lisa, and their family. Today, he is proud to call Southern Nevada home and is excited to serve the community as part of the Crovetti Orthopaedics team.
“It gives me no greater joy than helping individuals and athletes get back into action. Whether it’s a professional athlete, a weekend warrior, or someone working to regain mobility, I’m honored to be part of their recovery journey.”
