Dr. Crovetti’s impact extends beyond the exam room and operating room.
After founding Crovetti Orthopaedics in 2000, he set out to give patients a more comfortable, efficient, and personalized surgical experience outside the traditional hospital setting. That vision helped lead to the development of state-of-the-art surgery centers and private recovery suites designed around patient comfort, safety, and a smoother recovery experience.
His continued work in surgical innovation, physician training, and practice development has helped make Crovetti Orthopaedics a leader in orthopaedic care in Nevada.
Dr. Crovetti’s interest in orthopaedics started on the football field.
While playing quarterback at Albright College in Pennsylvania, his own sports injuries sparked an early interest in the field that would become his life’s work. That experience still shapes the way he connects with patients today. He understands how frustrating it can be when pain or injury keeps you from the activities that matter.
Away from the practice, Dr. Crovetti enjoys boating, snowboarding, golf, and spending time with his wife and family in Henderson.
Dr. Mike Crovetti is an orthopaedic surgeon and the founder of Crovetti Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, specializing in hip and knee replacement, adult reconstruction, and sports medicine procedures involving the hip and knee.
Born and raised in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Dr. Crovetti completed his undergraduate studies at Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania, where he played quarterback for four years. His own football injuries helped spark his interest in orthopaedic medicine and ultimately guided him toward a career dedicated to helping others overcome pain, injury, and limited mobility.
He earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he also completed his internship. He then completed his Orthopaedic Residency in Dayton, Ohio, followed by fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction of the hip, knee, and shoulder.
Dr. Crovetti later moved to Las Vegas and founded Crovetti Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in 2000. From the beginning, his goal was to build something different: an orthopaedic practice focused not only on excellent surgical care, but also on the full patient experience before, during, and after surgery.
Today, his practice focuses on hip and knee replacement, degenerative conditions of the hips and knees, knee arthroscopy, cartilage repair, and complex surgical cases involving these areas. He also continues to develop innovative surgical instrumentation and devices while helping train surgeons in Las Vegas and Henderson.
As the practice has grown, Dr. Crovetti has brought together a team of skilled physicians, surgeons, and providers who share his commitment to personalized care, advanced treatment, and getting patients back to their lives.
A Henderson resident, Dr. Crovetti enjoys boating, snowboarding, golf, and outdoor recreation. He and his wife enjoy spending time with their three children and embracing life as empty nesters.
“My goal has always been to create a better experience for patients, from the first appointment through recovery. Helping people get back to their lives is what drives everything we do.”
