Crovetti Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Welcomes Briannon Yadrick, PA-C: A New Addition to the Team of Physicians and Surgeons

Dr. Michael Crovetti is happy to announce the addition of Briannon Yadrick, PA-C to the professional staff of Crovetti Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. An experienced Physician Assistant-Certified specializing in Orthopaedic Surgery, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her work that aligns perfectly with the values of Crovetti Ortho.

Originally from Pittsburgh, Bri (as she prefers) completed her education in her home state starting with her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training (Summa Cum Laude) at California University of Pennsylvania, along with an Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant. She then spent some time working as a Certified Athletic Trainer and Physical Therapist Assistant before returning to acquire her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (Summa Cum Laude) at King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, PA.

While advancing her education and career, Ms. Yadrick’s family gradually relocated to Las Vegas, prompting her and her husband, Rob (who also works in health care), to make the move in 2018. “With my parents, brothers, and in-laws all here, it made sense to join them,” she explains. “Family is incredibly important to me, and since our move, we’ve added three children of our own to the mix, making it even more special to enjoy so much time together.”

While committed to family time, Ms. Yadrick is equally focused on achieving a 50-50 balance between the work she loves and her time as a wife and mother.

“My career path was different from many in my field, because I didn’t know exactly the career I wanted to pursue,” Yadrick adds. “I was an athlete, so I got my Athletic Training and Physical Therapy education right away. I enjoyed it, but I didn’t really feel I had found my ‘home’, so to speak.

“But then I got involved working in Orthopaedics, and the light bulb went on. I was hooked, and it truly became my passion. There was a 10 years gap in my studies before I went back to school for my Master of Science. Once I returned, I fully immersed myself in the field. I knew this was where I was meant to be.”

After her move to Las Vegas and spending several years with another Orthopaedic practice in Henderson, growth and changes taking place there left Bri Yadrick feeling different about her position. “I really love the work I do, but it had changed. And I really loved how things had started out. So I began thinking of making a change of my own,” explained Yadrick. “I wanted to find a practice that was smaller, where I could feel more connected to the staff, and especially be able to give my patients a more personal touch in their care. As it turns out, I didn’t realize it, but I had been looking at the perfect solution every day – just across the road.”

So, someone knew someone, people talked, and before she knew it, she was offered the opportunity to join the team at Crovetti Ortho. It’s a move she is very excited about making. And perhaps her favorite thing about the transition is knowing that Dr. Crovetti is taking the time he needs to structure her job in a way that will work best for both her and for the surgeons.

“To me, that means he understands what I’m looking for, and he sees the value of putting that into practice with his staff. And I’m absolutely thrilled about it,” she adds.

“When you work closely with the same doctors, you each get into a rhythm of how things are done,” continues Bri. “I do things exactly as each doctor wants them, because that’s why they hire me. I don’t try to impose my habits on them, which I know they appreciate. They explain what they want, and I work hard to fill that role.

“In the long run, that means the efficiency is increased to the point where both of us know exactly what comes next without having to say a word. And the other benefit of working well and easily together is that it makes it possible when my day is done to go home and right into ‘family mode’.”

As for Dr. Crovetti’s decision to bring Briannon Yadrick, PA-C, on board, it’s one he didn’t have to struggle with at all. “Aside from being very impressed with her experience, passion, and enthusiasm for her work, I fully understand Bri’s commitment to her family, and her desire to find the right balance that doesn’t detract from either world,” comments Dr. Crovetti. “Those are priorities I happen to agree with, and I am looking forward to working with Bri here at Crovetti Ortho in her new “work home.”
